Our Guiding Principles In Teaching

Children of America's® programs are designed to foster self-esteem, self-confidence, competence in self-help skills and those inner controls and language abilities necessary for effective social interaction. We stress the process of learning and discovery rather than the product. We encourage children to feel good about themselves as a consequence of their own achievements.

To help children develop into self-confident, caring, competent individuals, our program is play oriented. We, at Children of America®, believe "play is a child's work" and that through play, children acquire the foundations for reading, writing and logical thinking.

Our curriculums are designed by Vicki Folds, Ed.D, published author and renowned childcare expert and are exclusive to Children Of America®. They address the specific needs of each age group and stage in a child's development. The goals of our curriculum are to help children develop a positive sense of self, be active and creative explorers and in the process become enthusiastic learners.
