Vicki Folds, Ed.D, has been involved in early childhood education for over twenty-five years. Dr. Folds graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a doctorate in educational leadership and technology in Child and Youth Studies. She has traveled around the world lecturing and attending international conferences such as NAEYC, NCCA and the World Forum.

Dr. Folds has also maintained an adjunct position as an early childhood professor at community colleges and universities for the past ten years. She is actively involved with NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) and is a CDA (Child Development Associate) Representative, advisor and trainer. She is the past NAEYC state affiliate president for ECA of FL (Early Childhood Association of Florida) and her local county organization, BAEYC.

Currently, she is a Chairman of the Child Development and Education Program Advisory Committee at Broward Community College. She is also on the NAEYC Editorial Board and the SECA (Southern Early Childhood Association) Editorial Board as well as reviews texts and manuscripts for Thomson Delmar Publishers. Dr. Folds has been a featured guest on numerous radio and television shows and has been quoted as an early childhood expert in magazines such as Parent, Parenting, Redbook, Parent and Child, Sesame Street, and Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. Magazines. She has frequently published articles both in print (National Headstart Magazine, "Children and Families") and on the Internet. Her book, "Tray Tasking" and "Three Step Tray Tasking" promote reading and writing as well as critical thinking skills and have been resounding successes in the literary field.
