Newsletter - Dear Family

Spring is in the air and the flowers have begun to blossom. The children are able to play outside more and are so happy to be able to soon lose their coats. This month we will be centering around flowers. Our teachers will be teaching the children about the amazing different types of flowers. How they are all the same but oh so different in colors, shapes and sizes. The children will create their own flowers out of different materials with their teachers. This month is also MOTHERS DAY!!!! Mothers are like flowers, both unique and beautiful in every way. The children are also very excited about coming up with ideas to make for their amazing mothers. So be on the look out for those sneaky glances and smiling faces as they try and figure out the best gift to make for you at school. As a whole we are all still working on creating a in-school library for all our classes to be able to borrow from. We want to thank the parents that have donated so far!! We have a lot of celebrations going on this month, so please look to the calendar for more dates.

This Month our special shout out family is to The Nedd Family. Tuck came in with a bang. He is a ball of energy and is nice to everyone he sees. His little face always has a smile and is always yelling hellos down the hall to any teacher he sees. Also a big shout out to our very own Nathalie.

Date : May 11th

Time : 7am-10am

Description : We would like to thank all our amazing moms with coffee and muffins.

Bentley books are published six times throughout the year. Children anticipate their opportunity to participate in the process. Bentley, our mascot, helps promote a lifelong love of learning by acting out the authors’ script. Your children are the authors!

Measurement: We measure to figure and compare height, length, and width; area and volume; time; etc. Measurement is expressed in conventional units such as inches and feet, ounces and pounds etc. But children may express height as,” Five bowls high!” SO, measure things! Use a ruler, a hand, a shoe or spoon. But measure! Talk about time!
