Newsletter - Dear Family

Summer camp is in full swing! If you have not filled out a vacation form for July or August please stop by the front desk and grab one. We will be going outside per the weather watch chart for Pennsylvania. With that being said please have children dressed appropriately for the weather, brought to school with sunscreen already applied, and have extra labeled clothing in their cubby. Please help us stop the spread of germs. Upon arrival please remember to wash your child's hands as we continue to follow our STARS standards. Last but not least, please join me in welcoming all of our new families to our center. Take a moment and say hello to them in the hallways and or the classroom. As always if you have any questions or concerns please call or stop by the office.

July:

Summer has arrived and we are thinking about the outdoors and all the fun activities we can do. Our teachers are busy making camp fun while still reviewing ideas and concepts taught throughout the year. Ask your teacher for ideas you can incorporate into your daily life. While on a bike with your child, try to find all the pink things!

July:

Data Analysis: Think of data as information presented in numerical terms. We deal with data all the time in our lives. Knowing how to collect, organize, and interpret data helps us to make decisions and manage our lives. Make collections with your child. Children are natural collectors. Go on a nature and collect stuff. Encourage your child to sort the collections by size, color, shape, texture or function.
