Newsletter - Dear Family

Summer is finally here!!! Please make sure the clothes in your child's cubby are weather appropriate. Since it is finally warmer out, we would like to remind you that no open-toed shoes are to be worn on any given day. Please make sure to put the first application of sunscreen on your child prior to arriving at COA. We will re-apply it in the afternoon if you have supplied it. Please stop by the front desk and pick up Summer Camp Calendars for your child's specific classroom. On water play days please bring your child in wearing their swimsuits unless the teachers ask you otherwise. Also, please bring in water shoes or closed toe sandals, and a towel labeled with your child's name on it. In addition, please bring an extra change of clothes for your child to change in afterwards. Please do not bring in water diaper or pull ups. Your child can use their regular diapers and pullups for water play.

Congratulations to our Pre- K Class of 2019. They worked very hard this year preparing themselves for Kindergarten. Thank you, Mrs. Mollie, and Mr. Jason did an excellent job working with them this year. We look forward to seeing them blossom in their future.

Upcoming Events

July 4th Celebration

Date : 7-4-19

Time :

Description : COA will be closed on Wednesday, July 4th in observance of the Holiday.

Summer has arrived and we are thinking about the outdoors and all the fun activities we can do. Our teachers are busy making camp fun while still reviewing ideas and concepts taught throughout the year. Ask your teacher for ideas you can incorporate into your daily life. While on a bike with your child, try to find all the pink things!

Data Analysis: Think of data as information presented in numerical terms. We deal with data all the time in our lives. Knowing how to collect, organize, and interpret data helps us to make decisions and manage our lives. Make collections with your child. Children are natural collectors. Go on a nature and collect stuff. Encourage your child to sort the collections by size, color, shape, texture or function.
