I have two children enrolled at Children of America in Fredericksburg, VA and we have been blessed by the staff. I am writing you this letter to express my heartfelt gratitude, appreciation to all the staff, especially Co-Director Shirley Collins and Mrs. Beverley Burner their level professional attitude, real love and dedication to service is second to none! They go above and beyond the call of duty to provide a rich loving learning environment for all the children!
All the teachers at this location are great I would be remised if I didn't name just a few more like Shannon Eley, to my knowledge she hasn't missed a day of work in over two years, also (Ashlee Nugent, Vergie Hursh, Ashley Montgomery and Kyerstern Daniel) faithful employees and many others that has made a great impact on the children.
I want the management of Children of America to know how special Mrs. Collins, Mrs. Burner and Mrs Shannon Eley are, to your future success by providing an Empowered Educational Program that is filled with love. Of course these women would never ask for any special treatment or attention that's why I am writing you this letter, because it is very rare that you find people that are performing their jobs in excellent with a real love and compassion for caring for other people children! Outstanding service!
I wanted you to know that many parents go out of their way just to bring their children to this center, and I believe it's because of the loving and friendly staff. I pray that Children of America will enhance these women's lives in some way! Our family appreciates, all their love, support, and guidance that is provided for our children's continued growth and development!

I wanted to just send a quick note about how wonderful the Trappe staff is. I recently tore a ligament in my foot limiting my ability to carry my infant. The girls have really stepped up with assisting me. From carrying my son to and from the car, to helping carry their belongings, to just having the kids ready for me when I get there so I don't have to walk from class to class. I am very grateful for their thoughtfulness. Jenna, Des, and the teachers have been wonderful. I loved all of them before but these simple gestures they do are beyond word of gratitude! I wanted corporate to know how blessed they are to have all of them.

I am writing to tell you about the positive experience we have had at the Children of America East Brunswick, NJ location, all because of the wonderful teachers who are employed there. While all of the teachers that our children have had there have been extremely nice and professional, I wanted to take the time to highlight two teachers who have gone above and beyond.
My daughter has been attending daycare at this location since July 2011. On her first day of school (Toddler room) she was introduced to her new teacher Ms. Janet. Coincidentally, it was also Janet's first day at the center. They took to each other instantly. I couldn't ask for a better stand in for me in my absence. She has cared for my daughter as if she were her own. From replacing her hair bows when my daughter has pulled them out, to patting her on her back to sleep at naptime, to teaching her the colors in Spanish and the names of the days of the week. Janet has been a big part of my daughter's "school" life. Even though our daughter has moved up to the 2's room, she still sees Janet every morning in "the big room" at drop off. Her being there allows for an easier transition from home for both my husband and my daughter.
One of my daughter's current favorite teachers is Ms. Kelly. I like Ms. Kelly, because every day when I pick up my daughter after work, Kelly has a list of things to tell me that range from a funny thing my daughter said, to an activity my daughter took particular pleasure in, to a report on how potty training was going. Her reports make me feel secure in the knowledge that my daughter is enjoying her time spent at COA and also that Kelly cares enough to remember little facts about my daughter's day. I also enjoy hearing it in person, rather than just reading it on the daily sheet that is sent home.

I am writing, as the days that Delaney and Brady will attend Children of America are coming to an end, to thank you for taking such good care ofmy children.
As you are aware, the kids started at Children of America three years ago when Delaney was 3, and Brady was just shy of 12 months. I had many mixed feelings about handing the care of the kids over to virtual strangers.
Very early on, it was evident that the teachers and caregivers at Children of America were not simply punching a time clock, instead they became familiar with each child and their individual needs.
Delaney is completing kindergarten this week and the educational foundation that was established at Children of America was undoubtedly instrumental in her success. (Perhaps Brady will be the true test next year in kindergarten).
There were a number of occasions when I called in to check on the kids for various reasons, and I was never made to feel overbearing or like a pest. I was always put right through to the head teacher in the class to discuss my concerns.
I am hesitant to name teachers individually for fear that I will leave someone out. I do, however, want to single out Desiree Piselli as an invaluable asset to Children of America. Both my children spent a year with "Ms. Des" and flourished under her tutelage. (I am still trying to figure out how she always remained upbeat, positive, organized and in control in the face of twenty rambunctious children). As I have told her personally, I believe that "every child should have a Ms. Des in their life." She continues to do a great job as Assistant Director.
In closing, the role that Children of America played in Delaney and Brady's lives was a positive one.

Dear Ms. Corrie & Ms. Patti,
I wanted to thank you for all of your support, encouragement and flexibility during this time for me and my family. When I chose COA for daycare for my son Joseph, I only had his needs in mind. But since I have been unexpectedly unemployed, you have displayed care and concern for me as well, and for that I am grateful.
I especially appreciate your flexibility on the days and times that I needed to bring Joe while I went on interviews. And your interest and encouragement while you watched me go on interview after interview was so thoughtful.
I feel better than ever that my little man is being cared for by you and your team.
Thank you again!

I just wanted to take some time to THANK the ladies of Doc Stone COA for taking such great care of my daughter. Sophia has been going to COA since Nov 2010. I have yet to find a teacher that is not compasionate or caring. I feel as if my daughter is advanced in her speaking skills as well as her social skills because of the ladies at Doc Stone. I can't and I won't take credit for the advancement of skills that my daughter possess. These ladies have done a fantastic job, and it means alot to me knowing she is in good hands. When she wakes up in the morning she knows that we are going bye bye to see Ms. Nila, and she gets very excited. I really want to give thanks to the following ladies. Ms. Nila, Ms. Marguis, Ms. Britney, and Ms. Diane. I do have the alwayscloseby up at work everyday, and I see them in circle time, playing with the kids and making sure everyone is well taken care of.
Ms. Nila is there in the mornings when I drop Sophia off, she is very attentive to her needs. As soon as we open the door Sophia will run to her and give her a big hug. I know she trusts Ms. Nila, or this would not happen. If Sophia is having a bad moring, Ms. Nila, will pick her up and comfort her. Ms. Nila has become a big comfort point in Sophia's routine.
Ms Marquis has been taking care of Sophia since she started COA. Sophia is very comfortable with her, and she is great with the kids. Ms. Marquis will make it a point to say good morning to the kids even if she is not in the classroom. I have seen her work with all the different age children and she makes sure that everyone is in good hands.
Ms. Britney, Sophia loves her very much. I love picking Sophia up because I know that Ms. Britney has been there all afternoon taking care of the kids. I love the fact that she plays with the kids and makes sure that everyone is taken care of. All of the children are happy and playful in the afternoon when I pick up my daughter.
Ms. Diane is also very wonderful with the kids. She plays and reads, and has so much fun with everyone. I am glad that a woman like Ms. Diane is there to take care of my daughter because I know she has done a great job raising her own daughters.
Last by not least, I wanted to let you know that the management of Doc Stone is fantastic, they always say hi to me and to Sophia. Ms. Mary, Ms. Beth and Ms. Jessica. Ms. Mary and Ms. Beth make me feel like I could come to them with any issues that I feel need attention. They are always available when needed, and the children seem to enjoy their presence. I just wanted to make sure that you knew these ladies are doing a fantastic job.

It gives me great pleasure to pen this letter in praise of Ms. Deike of Infant A at the Woodbridge/Dumfries Children of America Location. Every morning since starting with COA I have droped my infant off with Ms. Deike. Ms. Deike deserves to be commended for her hard work and effort to ensure that our kids in her care are loved and happy while us parents are working. This truly makes a parent feel better about returning back to work.
Ms. Deike has a very warm and inviting demeanor and anyone who meets her can tell that she is passionate about her job, taking care of our babies. Ms. Deike goes above and beyond the call of duty daily to ensure that the kids are happy. I personally ask that you alert the Woodbridge/Dumfires management staff so that they may be notified and hopefully reward her in some way for all that she does for the children of Infant A.
Ms. Deike is a valued asset to the COA Woodbridge staff, us parents are thankful to have Ms. Deike. Thank you for allowing me to share.

I just want to extend my appreciation and gratitude to you for making our transition into daycare so easy and such a pleasant experience. As a new mother, I was a nervous wreck sending our young infant into daycare (now we cant wait to have more children -knowing COA is so trust worthy and proficient).
I have to admit I love COA. After talking to a friend whose baby just started another facility in New City certain things seem such a hassle, she has to take home everything every night and wash and resend back the next day: bottles, crib sheets, etc. Your facility offers so many conveniences and makes life so easy!! I will suggest COA to everyone!
Your director Jenn is fabulous and quickly answers all questions and concerns we have (and we have a ton- being new to this), if Jenn is not available her assistant director Shakia is also great and so easy to work with. You can always find one or the other at the front counter upon our arrival or when we leave at night, with a bright smile.
Infant room A where Michaela is, is absolutely fantastic, Miss Karen, and Miss Jan, as well as all the other teachers, always answer my numerous phone calls, when I check in to see how Michaela is doing. I always know exactly what she ate and when she slept and how her day was. Everyone is so warm and loving, I feel more then comfortable leaving my baby in their experienced hands!
From the minute we walk in the front door ofthe building we are greeted with warm smiles, and pleasant people. To walking down the hallways and seeing all the projects the children do (as well as the infants!) To leaving at the end ofthe day, with a happy child, has made this one ofthe best experiences and easiest transitions for me to go back to work.
So again from the bottom of our hearts we thank you and applaud the Stony Point Facility.
Jamie & Mike Graham - Stony Point, NY - March 2012
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the "extra" effort you and your staff have put forth in caring for Ryan. As you know, I had many concerns regarding whether or not a daycare would be a good fit to meet Ryan's needs. Brooke, Allison, and the rest of your staff have done a wonderful job of easing my concerns. I know the infant room would be overwhelming for any teacher, but Brook and Allison are doing a wonderful job. Thank you for keeping us in the loop and for being aware of Ryan's needs. We know Children of America is a good fit for our family.
Please feel free to forward this to your corporate office. I would also like them to know that we are very appreciative of the care Ryan receives from Brooke and Allison.

I enrolled my son Scott into your Infant A room six months ago. I am very pleased with the school so far. The staff has been incredibly nice and helpful. I have no anxiety about leaving my son, which in turn makes it easier for me to go to work with peace of mind. Even though I have only been with the school for six months it is leaps and bounds better than the previous school we were attending. You have thought of everything, from required tummy time to allowing parents to view their children anytime during the day. As a first time mom I have to say that I am very impressed with the care and attention each child receives. With smaller groups the children seem to be happy and well taken care of. Thank you.
