Because “why?” is the best question a child can ask.
Expanding curiosity. Building confidence. One enriching experience at a time.
COA’s enrichment programs are designed to go beyond the classroom — giving children the chance to explore their interests, develop new skills, and fall even more in love with learning. Whether your child is a budding scientist, an aspiring artist, or a natural athlete, there’s something here for every curious mind.
More than childcare — a richer experience.
Our enrichment offerings are woven into the COA experience and designed to complement our Mind & Body Matters™ curriculum. Through specialized activities, themed learning, and family engagement events, we give children more ways to grow, discover, and shine.
What enrichment looks like at COA.
• STAR Curriculum Enrichment — science experiments, creative arts, and discovery-based learning that extends the classroom curriculum
• Presidential Fitness activities — movement games, obstacle courses, and teamwork challenges
• Baking with Bentley — a beloved hands-on cooking activity that builds math, science, and life skills
• Family Fitness Night — an annual event that brings families together for fun, movement, and community
• Week of the Young Child — a nationally recognized celebration of early childhood learning and creativity
• Dr. Seuss Birthday Week — a literacy-rich celebration of reading, rhyme, and imagination
A community that celebrates together.
At COA, enrichment extends beyond the classroom and into the community. Each month, we host a family engagement event — from educational workshops and stakeholder meetings to holiday celebrations and special activities. Our annual calendar includes:
• Back to School Night (September)
• Fall Festival (October)
• Bentley’s Birthday Bash (November)
• Thanksgiving Feast (November)
• Holiday Show (December)
• 100th Day of School (January)
• Muffins with Mom (May)
• Donuts with Dad (June)
