Your baby’s first classroom should feel like home.

Safe. Nurturing. Developmentally intentional. Family-owned since 1996.

At Children of America, our infant and toddler classrooms are built around one thing: connection. Every routine, every song, every moment of eye contact is intentional — designed to support your baby’s earliest milestones while giving you the peace of mind every parent deserves.

Program Overview

Building a strong start from the very beginning.

From tummy time to first words, every moment in our infant and toddler classrooms is guided by our Mind & Body Matters™ curriculum. We support your little one through the four pillars of whole-child development — social-emotional, intellectual, physical, and healthy habits — starting on day one.
Our caregivers follow consistent daily routines that help your baby feel safe and settled. Small group ratios mean your child gets the individualized attention they need to explore, bond, and grow at their own pace.

FAQs

Have questions about our Infant & Toddler Program? We’re here to help. Find answers to common questions about daily routines, curriculum, feeding and diapering, safety, family communication, and developmental milestones. Our goal is to give you the information you need to feel confident in choosing the right early learning environment for your child.

What ages does the infant and toddler program serve?

Our Infant program typically serves children from 6 weeks through 12 months, and our Toddler program serves children from 12 months through age 2. Exact age ranges may vary slightly by location — contact your local COA school for details.

We maintain low caregiver-to-child ratios in all infant and toddler classrooms to ensure every child receives the individualized attention they need. Ratios meet or exceed state licensing requirements — ask your local school for specifics.

Absolutely. We strictly follow the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) safe sleep guidelines for every nap: babies are always placed on their back, on a firm mattress, in a crib free of loose items.

Yes! Baby sign language is incorporated into our Infant, Toddler, and Young Twos classrooms. Using simple gestures adapted from ASL, our teachers help children communicate needs and emotions before they can speak — which research shows reduces frustration and supports early language development.

Through the Kaymbu app, your child’s teacher shares photos, updates, and daily notes so you stay connected throughout the day. You’ll also receive our monthly My COA @ Home recap with highlights and at-home activity ideas.

Yes! COA accepts childcare subsidies, CCDF vouchers, and state assistance programs. Contact your local school to confirm which programs are accepted in your area.

Of course — we encourage it! Tours are free, no-pressure, and a great way to meet your child’s future caregivers and see the classroom in person. Schedule yours at childrenofamerica.com.
